MSDN Bytes - Today's Random Silly Hanselman Video
I just got an email that a video I did with MSDN a while back, at TechEd I think, was just posted online. I'd forgotten about it, frankly. (I prefer to post my Channel 9 "HanselminutesOn9" videos an hour or two after I take the video...feels fresher, IMHO)
Anyway, it's even worse that I remember. ;) I'm in a silly mood, so if you want to see me being totally random, here you go.

There's going to be other folks scheduled to be interviewed. The list and schedule is at http://www.msdn.com/bytes.
Enjoy! (Or don't. It could go either way.)

About Newsletter
I took a look and got an alert telling me that I needed to upgrade Silverlight. OK.
Hit "install now", and out of interest, firebugged the process (I'm on Windows 7 Beta, Firefox (3.0.10) btw) - saw a bunch of silverlight script come down, and assumed I'd be good to go.
No dice, where the player should be is a similar 'Upgrade Required" msg. Hit that, same dialog. Hit that, and .... I'm on the merry go round.
Thought that perhaps I needed to refresh the page. Poor usability, but perhaps that's it.
Three times later, decide that perhaps I need to restart FF . Poor usability, but perhaps that's it.
Well no.
As far as I remember, Flash has always quietly and gracefully background updated itself, even on non MS browsers (!). Can' t help feeling that if this experience isn't bulletproofed, you guys can add all the client side libraries and coding language support, codecs etc you like and Silverlight will never take off, because Joe Avg can't install the plug-in
Too bad the links on the right don't open in a new window! Clicking on them stopped the video :/
