I have to say the podcast on the Zune is pretty nifty. My only complaint is that it seems that the automatic wireless sync is not triggered when a podcast is updated. Maybe its me, and user error, but when I plug my Zune in, it should sync everything. If add a song, then the wireless sync will kick in, but not with the podcasts. Unless of course I sync manually.

Either way, I actually listened to your last podcast while I pretended to work. Is listening to someone talk about code the same as actually coding...?

I actually found Hanselminutes through via Zune about a month ago. I'm not a big .NET developer but I'm an avid fan of the now! I've got every episode on my Zune (though still catching up).

Does this offer any advantage over the "old" way of subscribing (entering the URL)? Or does this just make it so that people browsing the Zune library can find it? In other words, if I subscribed the old way should I remove it and re-add it?

Dunno. I suspect it's just that I can be FOUND now by someone who isn't looking. :)

I think this is just a bug in the zune marketplace -- I constantly have to click the subscibe button every other day. The podcast is still in my collection but it will stop checking for updates to the feed until I click subscribe again. It happens for most podcasts that I subscribe to.

I've been listening on my Zune for the past month or so. Fantastic information. Most recently, I enjoyed the F# conversation. I disagreed with the Software Architecture podcast when it was stated that it's not a science, but a choice. I know what he was getting at, but... it's been proven that effectively communicating with people is just a skill that some developers do not have or do not care to have. A bad communicator can choose to communicate badly I suppose, but there's definitely an art and science to communicating effectively, especially when office politics and personal agendas creep in. I often wonder if consultants of any type (architects, analysts, managers, etc.) shouldn't minor in Political Science and be on a debate team. :)
