richard_headshot_webMy one-hundred-and-seventy-fourth podcast is up. In this slightly unusual episode, I sit down with my good friend Richard Campbell and we share stories about scaling large websites over the years. I thought this was a really good show, if a little long and I'm thinking to have Richard on as a regular thing, if he's interested.

Do also remember the complete archives are always up and they have PDF Transcripts, a little known feature that show up a few weeks after each show.

Telerik is our sponsor for this show.

Check out their UI Suite of controls for ASP.NET. It's very hardcore stuff. One of the things I appreciate about Telerik is their commitment to completeness. For example, they have a page about their Right-to-Left support while some vendors have zero support, or don't bother testing. They also are committed to XHTML compliance and publish their roadmap. It's nice when your controls vendor is very transparent.

As I've said before this show comes to you with the audio expertise and stewardship of Carl Franklin. The name comes from Travis Illig, but the goal of the show is simple. Avoid wasting the listener's time. (and make the commute less boring)

Enjoy. Who knows what'll happen in the next show?

I'd agree Scott - make it a regular slot - always entertaining to hear the pair of you when you get together. Both good on your own individual shows too of course, but there's definitely enough common ground & chemistry for you to make a successful partnership in broadcasting!!
While you're at it why not bring Carl along once in a while too?
Keep up the great work - always appreciated.

Great show. This format is like Diggnation for the more mature crowd (i.e. old guys like us). I would listen to you guys together every week if I could.

Every human has four endowments- self awareness, conscience, independent will and creative imagination. These give us the ultimate human freedom... The power to choose, to respond, to change.

This was the right kind of content to listen to on a Friday afternoon leaving work. Full of entertaining "minutiae".

Ok you let the cat out of the bag. What is taskfactory? I have been reviewing CCR and Axum, how does it relate to these?
