Windows Server AppFabric Logo My two-hundred-and-nineteenth podcast is up. Microsoft's Application Server is out and it's called AppFabric. Scott chats with Karandeep Anand from the Distributed Application Server group at Microsoft about Windows Server AppFabric. It's released and it's part of Windows itself. How does it relate to Azure? What's included, and where's Velocity?

I have been looking at AppFabric Caching. It offers two out of the box configuration options, SQL Server or network share. I have been looking for documentation on how frequently each server reads the configuration and the effects if the configuration becomes unavailable. Does the cache host 'cache' its previously read configuration and continues to use it until the configured store is reachable again.

Any documentation links anyone can share?
