image Scott talks to Colin Miller about the .NET Micro Framework. It's a "tiny CLR" that runs in as little as 64k! He explains how it started with the SPOT Watch (remember that) and how it's grown to an Open Source project under the Apache 2.0 license with a broad ecosystem and dozens of hardware boards available from partners.

Check out my other posts an videos on the .NET Micro Framework, as well as related Arduino posts.

The nerdy geek in me finds it amusing that this podcast covering hardware is number 232, I have to wonder if that was intentional, or maybe I've just spend too much time hooking up serial devices.

I look forward to the next .NET Micro Framework podcast, presumably on show HP485.

BTW - loved the podcast, really interesting, it's funny how much fun just making a LED blink can be and the Netduino's are awesome.

Loved the show.

I am actually building a robot based on the .NET Microframework. Here are the results of my effort so far.
